Scott Robinson
I'm Scott, a Designer and Practice-based Researcher living in London, specialising in UX and Embodied Experience Design.
I have worked in commercial design for over 20 years. I consult with global enterprises, start-ups, universities and non-profits on their tricky UX research and design challenges that arise during digital projects. I am currently CPO at KiteEdge, working on Graph-based AI solutions for creating and sharing knowledge.
In 2016 I was awarded an AHRC funded Design Star PhD scholarship. My thesis focuses on Embodied Experience Design drawing on post-colonial feminist theory. I create projects with other embodied practitioners such as theatre performers and indoor bouldering route setters in which we use our bodies to discover design opportunities. You can learn more about my approach to Embodied Experience Design, here.
Thinksitdo is a studio which combines my commercial and academic interests with a common design principle. Whether I am envisioning digital platforms via figJam, or standing body-to-body in a theatre space, I focus on the meaningful encounters with others, things and technologies and let that guide my participation.
